Ohio State Legal Services Association
(OSLSA) adopts the following policy and procedures for affording the public
appropriate access to information regarding the Legal Services Corporation and
OSLSA pursuant to 45 C.F.R. Section 1619.
The following information shall be available for public inspection at the OSLSA Program web site (http://www.seols.org):
A. a link to the Legal Services Corporation (LSC) Act, and the rules, regulations and guidelines of LSC;
B. a link to the Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation (OLAF) regulations and guidelines;
C. the names of OSLSA's Board of Trustees, with the names and addresses of their appointing authorities;
D. any other written materials determined to be appropriate by the Executive Director.
Nothing contained in this policy
statement shall require OSLSA to disclose:
A. any information furnished to OSLSA by a client;
B. work product of any attorney, paralegal, law student, or legal assistant;
C. any material used by OSLSA in providing representation to clients;
D. any material that is related solely to OSLSA's internal personnel rules and practices; or
E. any personnel, medical, or similar files.
